SYNOPSIS:
Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

INFORMATION
In MTC Student Productions, actors must first register before attending auditions. Registration is limited to 20 actors, and everyone who registers is guaranteed a role. Auditions are held to determine specific parts.
STUDENT PRODUCTION PRE-REQUISITES:
Students must be in at least second grade.
Students have to be currently registered in at least one class to participate in a production.
Students in Grades 2-5 must have completed at least two fall or spring terms at MTC or receive director approval.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS:
At least one parent or guardian per actor must volunteer in some aspect of the production. Volunteer positions include helping backstage, with costumes, props, ushering, and more.
AUDITIONS:
On the bottom of this webpage you will be able to download and print a PERFORMER CONTRACT, SWAG FORM, PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM, and AUDITION FORM. These forms need to be filled out and turned in at auditions.
Thursday, January 30th from 4:15pm-7:15pm at MTC.
Student's parents will sign them up for an audition slot prior to audition day. An email will be sent out when it’s time to schedule these.
Each student must prepare a song of their choice to sing at the audition. It is recommended that they sing a Broadway/Disney show tune or a song from the show. They should sing no more than 1 minute of the song.
Please provide a track (no vocals) to sing with. Instrumental and karaoke tracks can be found on Youtube, Apple Music, Spotify, and other music streaming platforms.
Each student may be given a scene to read from the script. The total time you will need to be available for your audition is a maximum of 30 minutes.
